The Awakening

The Moon up there
Calmly and brightly shining
Where art thou?
Peacefully and gaily slumbering.
Here i am,
Disjointed heart cocooning,
Pine needles, softly the breeze sway,
Shattered heart, slowly merging to clay.
Who would listen to my lonely song?
Waiting a deary day long.
Where should i begin?
Who would free me from this crushing burden?
Life's not a bed roses, people say,
Thorns picking life is not worth, i say.
Silently at the corner, hope awaites,
A clock ticking time, it follows.
Go with Hope, my heart say.
I should, but my heart still stay.
Hold me, and lead me, dear Hope,
With you beside me, only i cope.
A new morning will come,
Sweetly awakened, i will become.
